On November 14, MayCham China Guangdong Office, together with the Imperial College Alumni Association South China (ICAASC), successfully hosted a corporate overseas expansion dinner under the theme “Exploring New Opportunities, Focus on Malaysia”. The event was supported by the Malaysian Investment Development Authority Guangzhou Office (MIDA Guangzhou) , which provided participants with authoritative market insights and investment guidance.

11月14日，中国马来西亚商会广东办事处携手帝国理工华南校友会，共同举办了一场主题为“探索新机遇·聚焦马来西亚”的企业出海交流晚餐会。本次活动获得了马来西亚投资发展局广州办事处（MIDA Guangzhou）的专业支持，为参会企业提供了宝贵的市场动态与权威投资指引。

Mr. Safwan Nizar Johari, Acting Investment Consul of Malaysia in Guangzhou, and representatives from the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) attended the event. The dinner attracted corporate representatives from key sectors including finance, new energy, trade, chemicals, culture and education, F&B, and tourism.

In their opening remarks, Mr. Li Jianmo, Head of ICAASC, and Mr. Kwan Joo Sin, chairman of MayCham Guangdong, highlighted the rising importance of cross-border cooperation and resource sharing. They emphasized Malaysia’s strategic advantages—its geographic positioning, stable policy environment, and mature industrial ecosystem—which continue to make it a compelling destination for Chinese enterprises exploring overseas opportunities.

During the keynote session, Acting Investment Consul Mr. Safwan provided a comprehensive overview of Malaysia’s investment landscape, outlining the latest policies, market trends, and major national initiatives, including the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030), National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR), National Semiconductor Strategy (NSS), and the Johor–Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).

分享环节中，马来西亚驻广州投资代领事赛夫万先生从宏观角度深入剖析了马来西亚的投资机遇，并解读了最新投资政策与市场趋势。他重点介绍了马来西亚的亲商政策、完善的基础设施与有利的营商环境，同时分享了包括2030年新工业大蓝图、国家能源转型路线图、国家半导体产业战略，以及柔佛-新加坡经济特区（JS-SEZ）在内的一系列重点发展方向。

The event also featured enterprise perspectives. Mr. Alan Yang, Founder and CEO of Guangzhou Landow Software Technology Co., Ltd., shared his outlook on taking mature domestic innovation overseas, while Mr. Gao Yang, New Energy General Manager of GETO Group, offered practical insights from his company’s successful market entry in Malaysia.
